You need a Google XML sitemap file in order to do proper SEO for your WordPress blogs or websites. This can be easily done with the Yoast WordPress plugin. This is my favorite WordPress SEO plugin.

There are paid versions of this plugin and I highly recommend them. I personally use the FREE version and it is working very neatly for my WordPress blogs and websites. They are ranked very well on Google.
